Open Role
Partnerships Manager, Booooooom Studio
About Booooooom
Booooooom is an award-winning global arts platform dedicated to discovering and championing emerging talent across art, photography, illustration, design, and visual culture.
For more than fifteen years, Booooooom has worked closely with artists, photographers, illustrators, brands, agencies, publishers, institutions, and cultural partners to create meaningful projects, campaigns, awards, editorial features, and creative opportunities.
As the platform enters its next chapter, Booooooom is formalizing this work through Booooooom Studio, a new arm focused on helping partners connect with distinctive creative talent, reach a highly engaged creative audience, and develop thoughtful projects rooted in art, photography, and illustration.
About the role
We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to help lead the commercial development of Booooooom Studio.
This is a unique role working between the creative world, the arts, and partners across brands, agencies, institutions, and cultural organizations. You'll help shape and develop opportunities across advertising, sponsorships, curated knowledge, artwork development, commissioning, and bespoke creative projects.
At its core, this role is about building relationships, spotting opportunities, solving problems, and turning ideas into real partnerships. Sometimes that will mean responding to a clear partner brief or helping shape a loose idea into something more focused. Other times, it will mean identifying an opportunity within Booooooom Studio and finding the right pieces to bring it to life.
This is a new role with real ownership. We're looking for someone who can run with it: identifying opportunities, shaping the process, developing ideas, building relationships, and helping define how Booooooom Studio grows.
As the studio develops, the scale of this role can develop too.
What you'll do
You'll work closely with the Booooooom team to develop the commercial and partnership side of Booooooom Studio.
- Lead business development for Booooooom Studio across brands, agencies, publishers, institutions, cultural organizations, and creative partners
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential opportunities
- Research new leads, develop target lists, and create thoughtful outreach strategies
- Nurture Booooooom's existing network of partners, sponsors, agencies, and collaborators
- Respond to inbound briefs and help turn early interest into real opportunities
- Work with partners to understand their goals, challenges, audiences, timelines, and constraints
- Translate loose ideas or open-ended needs into clear creative opportunities
- Work with the Booooooom team to shape proposals, scopes, decks, and partnership ideas
- Pitch Booooooom Studio capabilities in a clear, confident, and thoughtful way
- Act as a lead contact for partners from first conversation through delivery
- Liaise with clients on timelines, deliverables, feedback, approvals, reports, and next steps
- Help create case studies, campaign reports, partner recaps, and internal learnings
- Share ideas for improving outreach, positioning, partner experience, and studio offerings
- Help grow the level, quality, and ambition of opportunities coming into the studio
Who we're looking for
You might have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business development in the creative, media, advertising, cultural, or platform space
- Partnerships at a publisher, creative platform, agency, studio, or cultural organization
- New business, sales, sponsorship, or brand partnerships
- Branded content, advertorial, integrated campaigns, or creative collaborations
- Project, client, or production work at an agency, studio, publisher, or creative company
- Producing creative projects, campaigns, events, editorial programs, or artist-led collaborations
This is not a junior role, but we're open to different paths into it. You may have several years of experience in partnerships, business development, creative sales, production, or client-facing work, as long as you can build relationships, spot opportunities, solve problems, and take ownership of the role.
Most importantly, you should be excited by the idea of helping build something new. We're looking for someone who can take initiative, think independently, create momentum, and help shape the position as the studio grows.
What you'll bring
- Strong business development instincts
- A genuine interest in problem solving and figuring things out
- Creative thinking, with the confidence to develop and roll out ideas independently
- Comfort with outreach, pitching, follow-up, and partner conversations
- The ability to turn loose ideas into clear opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A thoughtful, natural approach to relationship-building
- Strong organizational instincts and comfort managing multiple conversations at once
- Experience developing proposals, decks, scopes, reports, or client-facing documents
- A good eye for culture, art, photography, illustration, design, and creative work
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with a small team
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with brands, agencies, publishers, institutions, cultural organizations, or creative companies
- Experience developing sponsorships, advertorial, branded content, or creative campaigns
- Experience working with artists, photographers, illustrators, designers, or creative talent
- Familiarity with CRM tools, pipeline tracking, sales reporting, or outreach systems
- Experience helping shape a new offering, department, service, or revenue stream
Working setup
This is a remote freelance / contract role. The exact structure, hours, and scope can be shaped around the right person and the needs of the studio.
We're open to someone who can support on a flexible ongoing basis, with the potential for the role to grow as Booooooom Studio develops.
